Great place with great amenities like free parking, a bar/lounge area, and lovely in-room coffee facilities. I remember how the staff helped me with my bags during my first stay. Highly recommend trying the pork stroganoff!

Thanks very much for the really lovely stay for 4 nights. This hotel offers marvellous and lovely location right by York City centre or Racecourse, the pub which was laid out with cereals, and the pub / restaurant...

The venue was set in the central position near to the pub as well as taxi. The personnel was pleasant and hospitable, doing their best to assist. Design of the rooms looked nice, rooms themselves were top-class and romantic.

Unique room decor, spacious outdoor seating area, resident cat
Noise levels from the pub could be better managed!!! Limited dessert options leave much to be desired. The bathroom layout feels impractical with no space for toiletries!!!

Cozy stay with great food
Just spent 2 nights here and it was pretty chill. Room was nice, but no central heating , made it a bit damp with the weather. The breakfast options were ace, especially with local produce. They've got a relaxed vibe in the bar with a solid beer selection, and a good amount of parking too.

The room was spacious and beautifully furnished, with a lovely comfortable bed and great linen. The en-suite bathroom was modern and had fab amenities. We were impressed with the cleanliness, too-everything felt super clean and well taken care of. Little touches like quality tea and biscuits. Plus, the quirky decor gave it a unique charm. Best place we've stayed in York, for sure!

Ideal for couples looking for a relaxing escape
The room was generous size and beautifully furnished. Breakfast time was a true delight with really good cooked meals that really set us up for the day.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but it was acceptable for the quality we received.

It was just a fitting option for a weekend adventure in York with really good value. The decor in the room had personal touches like teddies with mints, nice. Make sure to double-check any reservations for meals to avoid mix-ups.

Charming, charming, charming.
The individually decorated Beautiful SuperKing Room was a good blend of vintage and modern decor that instantly. I was particularly impressed by the cute touches, like complimentary high-quality toiletries and a personal welcome gift. The pub served locally sourced dishes that were delicious and generous in portion sizes-definitely don't skip the Penang Curry!
totally recommend 😍❤️

The decor of the common areas was charm personified, blending traditional elegance with cozy comfort. I particularly cherished the thoughtful touches, like the lovely seating, made relaxation easy for us seniors.
Reserved parking spaces for overnight guests would help.
